Lancet Driver Vacancies – Financial Accountant

Job Description:

Responsible for full accounting functions of allocated entity within the Lancet Group, include auditing financial documents and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Group Reporting Manager in preparation of budgets and forecasts for allocated entity within the Lancet Group of entities;
• Full accounting function of an allocated entity within the Lancet Group of entities;
• Manage all accounting transactions within the entity responsible for;
• Ensure timely bank payments;
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
• Performs a thorough trend analysis to recognise any anomalies and / or deviations from the norm ensuring that the trend will be investigated and understood
• Responsible for monthly and annual closings;

Job Requirements:

• B.Com Hons in Accounting/ Finance advantageous
• B.Com Degree in Accounting/ Finance
• Business processes and services
• Computer literate
• 3-5 Yrs Relevant Working Experience as an Accountant
