Lancet Vacancies Internship – Financial Accountant

Job Description:

Responsible for full accounting functions of allocated entity within the Lancet Group, include auditing financial documents and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs a thorough trend analysis to recognise any anomalies and / or deviations from the norm ensuring that the trend will be investigated and understood;
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
• Ensure timely bank payments;,
• Audit financial transactions and documents;
• Manage all accounting transactions within the entity responsible for;
• Full accounting function of an allocated entity within the Lancet Group of entities;
• Assist Group Reporting Manager in preparation of budgets and forecasts for allocated entity within the Lancet Group of entities;
• Responsible for monthly and annual closings;
• Comply with financial policies and regulations,

• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
