Job Description:
Old Mutual Alternative Risk Transfer Limited (OMART) is a dynamic life insurance company that provides cell captive solutions to clients who want to share in the underwriting profits of long-term insurance business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implementation of all policies relating to TCF, FAIS, FICA, PPI, PPR, AML and code of conduct across all OMART cells.
- Normal functions pertaining to management (people, processes, production, and clients) apply, but in a technical environment.
- Responsible for the management of a unit of specialists in support of business objectives.
- Maintain and manage relationships and enhance engagement with OMART stakeholders.
- Could be accountable for other operational processes across the OMART business.
- Implementation of adequate Internal controls through tracking, monitoring, and reporting for risk, compliance, and quality assurance/due diligence processes.
- Responsible for technical deliveries with a high level of technical knowledge in related fields of Life/ funeral business, sales, premium collections, regulatory implementation, risk, and compliance etc.).
- Carries responsibility to deliver on operational projects within OMART.
- Investigations, reviewing and reporting on OMART client due diligence and quality assurance processes.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification
- Relationship building sills
- Presentation skills required
- Matric
- Exposure in a process environment
- Computer literacy, MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Financial services experience required
- Management experience
- 3-5 yrs relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
