Job Description:

To acquire goods and services from the external suppliers and/or service providers to meet the requirements of the Endusers in a cost-effective manner through adherence to the tendering policy, procedures and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures goods and services are awarded at market related prices in line with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles.
• Manages relationships with strategic suppliers/contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ensures compliance and implementation of PRASA ’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Ensures that procurement delivers services in line with Company objectives.
• Advises employees and suppliers about PRASA’s processes, policies, and procedures.
• Guides the departments and other stakeholders regarding procurement processes, policies, and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 3 Years National Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing / Procurement / Logistics or Strategic Sourcing or CIPS Level 4.
• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management of which 3 years should be of sourcing.
• Code 08 Drivers License
• Possessing knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planning and Organizing Skills
